Dr. Aflatoon received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona in biochemistry with a minor in computer engineering. He obtained his medical degree from Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. After completing his Orthopedic residency in New York he completed two years of fellowship in Spine and Orthopedic Oncology at prestigious Johns Hopkins University and Medical Center in Baltimore.
Dr. Aflatoon is a highly skilled Orthopedic Surgeon. He has published several articles in peer reviewed journals.
Dr. Aflatoon holds over ten patents in the field of spine medical devices. He is very active in research and development of new products to improve patients outcomes. He has been cited in more than ten medical journals and textbooks. He has been a keynote speaker at national and international profession society gatherings.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling around the world learning about different cultures and medical practices.
